Minister's & Church's Electronic Reporting System

We are happy to inform you that the new Electronic Reporting System (ERS) for Clergy is now up and running. For those who use the Internet, this will prove to be a real convenience.

All Licensed and Ordained Ministers should email NCIPHC Secretary-Treasurer Oris Hubbard at loanfund@nc.rr.com with your current, best email address. He will enter your address in the ERS and the system will send you an email with your ERS ID number and password. The email will come from “subscribe@martussolutions.com”. The ID number will be four digits that you will need to keep and will be unable to change. The password will be temporary and you should set your own password once you access the system. You will want to familiarize yourself with the ERS by clicking the “getting started” document link on the initial email.

Here are some steps that may help once you receive your initial email with ID and temporary password:

Go to www.iphcdb.com.

Near the left side of the screen, place your cursor over "Sign In".

Go down to "My Stewardship Dashboard" and click.

Now sign in with:  ID/Login:  (four digit number) and your password.

Explore the site and enter as much of your information as possible. You will also be able to enter your CEU’s and other ministry information on the site.

Under “clergy reports” you will need to “Load” the month for which you wish to report. Ministers should report by the 10th of the month for the prior month, i.e. complete the June report by July 10th. Be sure to click the “Submit” button once you have completed the report.

To report your check/giving, you will need to use the “Checks” link and “Add New Check” each month. You will be able to view earlier checks entered. After allocating your check, enter the check number you will send to the Conference Ministry Center here in Falcon and click on “Submit.” You will still need to mail your paper check to Falcon. When it arrives, we will compare the amount to the amount you entered in the system and if it matches, we will simply “Approve” the check and report. Please print a copy of your completed report(s) and check allocation for your files.

If you should run into a problem, give Oris Hubbard a call at (910) 980-1162 ext. 112.

Churches

The IPHC has instituted a new system of reporting local church statistics and giving through an online (web-based) program. There is no need to add new software to your computer. All you need is access to the Internet (anywhere) to use this new system. This Electronic Reporting System (ERS) is much more efficient and accurate than the old paper reporting that has existed for years.

To begin reporting through ERS, a activation email must be sent to the person who will be doing the reporting each month. Please click here to request an activation email. Any questions may be directed to Oris Hubbard.

Stewardship

Among other financial services, the North Carolina Conference operates the Ministerial and Church Extension Loan Fund (MCELF) for benefit of the Conference ministers and for the development of Conference churches.

The total assets of the fund stand at approximately $27,000,000. M&CELF consists of funds invested by individuals, businesses and churches who desire to provide working capital for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God. Current deposit interest rates are as follows:

  • Up to $10,000 - 2.50%
  • $10,000 to $50,000 - 3.00%
  • $50,000 to $100,000 - 3.25%
  • $100,000 and up - 3.50%
  • IRA rates at .1% higher for each respective bracket.

The Loan Fund is similar to a passbook savings account. Although the Loan Fund constitution allows up to a 90-day waiting period on withdrawals, to date this provision has not been necessary. For investments that may need to be available on a short-term notice this is an attractive feature. Anyone may make deposits into the Loan Fund with interest compounded quarterly.

The Loan Fund is audited annually and the audit is provided in the North Carolina Conference Minutes, also available annually.

For more information call Rev. Oris Hubbard, Kay Glover or call (910) 980-1162. You may e-mail Reverend Hubbard at loanfund@nc.rr.com.
