URPOSE

The purpose of the North Carolina Conference Archives is to show God's faithfulness and grace through people's lives from the very beginnings of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church on through to His second coming.

Just as the children of Israel placed stones for a memorial in and on the banks of the Jordan River, we are collecting memorial stones of remembrance of God's goodness and faithfulness to His people. Joshua 4:6 says: "that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, 'What do these stones mean to you?'"

Our responsibility as a Christian is to not only win the lost to Christ but to leave a Godly heritage to those who come after us. The North Carolina Conference Archives is a source for studying the lives of those spiritual pioneers such as: J.A. Culbreth, A.H. Butler, J.H. King, G.F. Taylor, A.E. Robinson and so many others.

The North Carolina Conference Archives is called to preserve historical records and to keep alive the happenings and experiences within the lives of our church people, ministers and their families.

OLUNTEERS NEEDED

There are many areas in which we could use some help at the Archives in Falcon. We need someone to help log our collection into our computer system, Library Master. We also need help with cataloging what is given, filing these things in the appropriate places, reworking some of our files, interviews, transcribing our interviews, sorting through boxes of donations, and processing them. Some items need to be copied or scanned and then returned. There are several other jobs that have not been mentioned. We can certainly use your help. Please call or email Karen Lucas to schedule a time to come and help out. Thank You!
